Rules

Players participating in the Jacksonville-Applegate Rotary Poker Run will purchase a scorecard for $25 or 5 for $100. There is no limit to how many hands a player may play.

At each winery, the player will draw a card from a full deck (52 cards without jokers). If a player has multiple scorecards (hands) they must present the scorecard they are drawing for in advance.

If a player draws a duplicate card to one already on their scorecard (they have an Ace of Clubs and draw another Ace of Clubs) they must return the card to the deck and draw again.

Standard poker hand ranking will be used to determine the winners.

Royal flush: A, K, Q, J, 10, all the same suit, Straight flush: Five cards in a sequence, all in the same suit, Four of a kind: All four cards of the same rank, Full house: (Three of a kind with a pair), Flush, Straight, Threeof a kind, Two pair, etc.

Only the best five cards in the hand are used to determine the best hand. It is the player’s responsibility to fill in the final hand box with their best hand.

Cards must be turned in by 6pm on Saturday. They may be turned in at any participating winery  (usually the last place you visit). The winners will be announced at the Rotary BBQ at Rellik Winery, September 16 from 6 to 8pm. Players do not have to be present to win.

In the event there is a tying high hand, the tying players will cut a single deck of cards to determine the winner. Highest card cut wins!
